Most of the mountains are allowed to climb with Nepal government permission and it’s called the Expedition and needs to be mentally and physically prepared with technical skills. Mt. Everest 8,848.86 m (29,031.7 ft)
Mount Everest is the highest mountain in the world. It is 8,848.86 m (29,031.7 ft) tall. Mt. Everest is also known as Sagarmatha in Nepal and Chomolungma in Tibet. The peak was identified in 1852 AD by George Everest and first climbed by Tenzing Norgay and Edmund Hillary in 1953AD. By then many climbers had submitted the mountain and every year many climbers attempt to reach on top. Mount Everest is the major mountain peak climbing in Nepal. The mountain climbers feel and think one of the big aims of life is success after the summit of Mount Everest and got a certified certificate from the Nepal government. Mount Everest attracts experienced mountaineers to climb every year and take route southwest route from Nepal and the Northeast route from Tibet. Mostly, people start to climb in the spring season (March/April/May) and in the autumn season (September/October/November). For the successful summit climbers, enough acclimatize during the expedition period and climb small peaks for physical fitness. Mt. Kanchenjunga 8,586 m (28,169 ft)
Mount Kanchenjunga is the third highest eight thousand peak that lies in the eastern part of Nepal between the Nepal and India border. Mount Kanchenjunga (8,586 m) is the third highest mountain in the world and the second-highest mountain in Nepal. Kanchenjunga is one of the remote trekking regions with less crowded routes. It’s a much more beautiful Kanchanjunga Base camp trekking and expedition that not many trekkers explored yet. It was first climbed by Boe Brown and George Band in 1955 by a British expedition team. The mountain is hard to climb and a technical one for a successful summit. There are three different routes summiting Mount Kanchanjunga northwest, southwest, and northeast.
Mt. Lhotse 8,516 meters (27,940 ft)
Mount Lhotse (8,516 m) is connected to Everest and is the fourth highest mountain in the World. Lhotse is the fourth highest mountain in the world. It’s situated between Tibet and Nepal border. Mount Lhotse was climbed in 1956 by the Swiss team. It’s also climbed by the mountaineers before climbing Mt Everest for acclimatization. The climbing route follows the same route as Mount Everest climbing to camp 4 as Tenzing and Hillary's first ascent route of Everest. And the most difficult and risky part of climbing is Khumbu Icefall. Lhotse is famous for its amazing south face summit Mount Lhotse 8,516m, Lhotse middle or East 8,410m, and Lhotse Shar 8,382m. It’s one of the most beautiful mountains in the world. Khumbu valley lies entirely inside the Everest National park.
Mt. Makalu 8,485metres (27,838 ft)
Mount Makalu is at 8,485 m and is the fifth highest mountain in the World. The peak was first climbed by a French expedition team in 1955. It is one of the very popular mountains among mountaineers and had a perfect pyramid shape. Mount Makalu climbing is one of the most challenging and difficult mountaineering and it offers stunning views of many different Himalayas including Mount Lhotse at 8,516m, Mount Everest at 8,848m, Mera peak at 6,470m, and Mount Baruntse 7,152m. Mount Makalu expedition standing between Everest and Kanchanjunga Himalaya on the border of Nepal and Tibet. There are several climbing routes and the trek starts from Tumlingtar flying from Kathmandu. Most of the climbing crews and the necessary expedition gear including food are taken from Kathmandu. The best season for the Makalu peak climbing expedition is in spring and autumn.
Mt. Cho Oyu 8,188m / 26,863ft.
Mount Cho Oyu, is the sixth-highest peak in the world and is 8,201 m tall. It’s located in the west Everest region of Eastern Nepal along the Tibetan border old trade route between the Khumbu valley of Nepal and Tibet. In Tibetan, ‘Cho Oyu’ means Turquoise Goddess. The peak was first summited in 1954 by the Austrian expedition team. It is one of the easy climbing and most attractive mountain and can attempt short duration than other expeditions. The expedition crews start from Kathmandu via the friendship highway to the Tibet plateau along the routes and reach Cho Oyu base camp.
Mt. Dhaulagiri 8,167 meters (26,795 ft)
Mount Dhaulagiri (8,167 m) is the seventh highest peak in the World. It is first submitted by a team of Swiss, Nepali, and Austrian expedition teams in 1960. The climbing route of Mount Dhaulagiri follows the northeast ridge and sets the four different camps to summit Dhaulagiri I (8,167m). There are five different ridges peaks, Dhaulagiri I (8,167m), Dhaulagiri III (7,715m), Dhaulagiri II (7,751m), Dhaulagiri IV (7,661m) and Dhaulagiri V (7,618m), Dhaulagiri VI 7,268m. The Dhaulagiri expedition is an attempt at the highest among the five peaks climbing and summit Dhaulagiri I. Peak climbing expedition and including Dhaulagiri trekking takes about seven weeks in total. It is difficult and a technical climbing expedition and requires a high level of climbing skills. Mt. Manaslu (8,163m) (26,781 ft)
Mount Manaslu (8,163 m) is the eighth highest mountain in the world and is known as the mountain of Spirit. The Manaslu Mountain entirely lies in Manaslu Conservation Area Project (MCAP), and has an excellent variety of trekking offers with a challenging Manaslu trek of 13 days (Larke La to pass 5,106m) down to the popular Annapurna. The mountain was first climbed by a Japanese mountain expedition team in 1956. For the Manaslu expedition, there are at least six different routes to the summit.
