    Overview And Highlights

The Timal Sailung Trek is a world-class trek, however, this region sees only a small crowd of trekkers every year. The trek takes us to Thulo Sailung (3100m), from where we can observe the Makalu and Dhaulagiri peaks. From Thulo Sailung we can also see the distant lowland of Nepal (Terai Region).

The trek takes us across the Tamang and Buddhist communities that practice Buddhist Lamaism and Shamanism (Bon culture). During this trek, you will get an insight into the lifestyle, culture, and tradition of the local people. This trek also offers better accommodation facilities when compared to other trekking routes.
