Mardi Himal Helicopter Tour is one of the most popular helicopter tour destinations in Nepal. The views from Mardi Himal are simply breathtaking and offer a unique perspective on the Annapurna mountain range.
This helicopter tour offers a great opportunity to see the stunning mountain scenery, including the soaring peak of Machapuchare (Fishtail), as well as the sacred Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. The tour also provides an interesting glimpse into the traditional villages and lifestyles of the Nepalese people.
The Mardi Himal Helicopter Tour is the most enjoyable alternative to the Annapurna Base Camp Heli-Flight. It offers a panoramic and cinematic view of high mountains, looking sun, drifting clouds, and beautiful tropical scenery.
The panoramic views from the Mardi Heli are stunning, with several of the world’s highest peaks visible. These include Mardi Himal (5,587 meters), Machhapuchhre (6,993 meters), Dhaulagiri (8,167 meters), Annapurna Ranges, Gangapurna, Singu, and so on.
The cost for a Mardi Himal Helicopter Tour is expensive but it is definitely worth the experience. The helicopter will take you on an aerial tour of the beautiful landscape and you will be able to see Mount Everest from a different perspective. If you are looking for an adventure, this is the perfect option for you!
The Mardi Himal Helicopter Tour costs around $650 per person. If you’re traveling with a group of five people, each person will be charged $650 for the excursion.
The price of a private helicopter flight to Mardi Himal base camp is $1800 per person, which includes the cost of the aircraft and fuel, as well as pilot and assistant fees.
Mardi Himal is one of the popular tourist destinations in Nepal. The place is situated at an altitude of 4,519 meters and offers mesmerizing views of the Himalayas. The peak season for Mardi Himal Helicopter Tour is during autumn (September to November) when the weather is clear and cool.
However, the place can be visited throughout the year. If you are looking for an adrenaline rush, then winter (December to February) is the best time to visit Mardi Himal. The snow-capped mountains and icy trails will definitely excite you.
Spring (March to May) is another good time to visit as the blooming rhododendrons make the place look even more beautiful. However, summer (June to August) is not the best time to visit as the weather is quite hot and humid.
No matter when you visit Mardi Himal, you are sure to have a memorable experience. The place is simply stunning and the views of the Himalayas will take your breath away.
There are certain crucial things to consider when it comes to safety and regulations, as well as the trip in general. The following are some other important things to remember while on the helicopter trip:
During the morning, temperatures plunge below the freezing mark in and around Mardi Himal. You should wear and carry sunscreen with a high SPF factor due to the intense UV radiation at such a high elevation. Lightweight meals including chocolates, dried fruit, or an energy bar are also permitted.
Yes, you may bring your children on this flight without any issues. Because we provide you with a deluxe and pleasurable Heli tour, it is ideal for both kids and adults.
Yes, there will be oxygen cylinders available in the event of an emergency. However, because this is a simple tour to explore the Mardi Himal and other high Himalayan mountains, you won’t need any oxygen on most occasions.
Like all helicopter trips, the Mardi Himal Helicopter Tour has a weight restriction. In general, each aircraft can carry five people. The average weight of this mountain flight excursion is 100 kg. A helicopter can transport 500 kg.
You are not required to purchase travel insurance, but we strongly advise you to do so. It covers the cost of any unforeseen problems that occur on your trip. Theft, medical emergencies, loss, or damage of luggage are all covered by this coverage.
The helicopter will stop for about 30 minutes at the Mardi Base Camp so you can explore. You can wander through medieval villages and find stunning highlands.
Yes, there are medical services on helicopters in the case of an emergency. The crew will always be there to assist passengers. Supplemental oxygen and emergency evacuation are available in the event of severe health issues.
You reach the Pokhara airport after your representative arrives at the hotel. You follow all of the steps necessary to get there and board the helicopter once you’ve arrived at the airport.
Flights are generally held in the early hours of the day when the weather is pleasant. The skies are clear and blue, with unimpeded views.
After boarding your flight, it streaks into the sky, leaving Lake City behind. The distance between Mardi Himal Base camp and Pokhara is a quick one. It takes around 15 to 20 minutes to reach your destination from the airport.
During the flight, you are immersed in the stunning scenery of nature. You may see magnificent Annapurna ranges and other sights as a result of this trip. You also pass over the local villages, Annapurna Sanctuary, and trekking routes on your way there.
After a short flight, you’ll arrive at your goal, Mardi Himal Base Camp. For exploration and breakfast in the base camp, expect a ground time of around 30 minutes.
As you approach the base, the stunning mountainside vistas greet you. You may see Mardi Himal, Machhapuchre, Annapurna South, and several other peaks.
You can visit the nearby settlements and explore the surrounding areas. After roaming, you come back to the base and have your breakfast. It is quite a thrill to eat and view the magnificent mountains.
Before returning to Pokhara, you spend some more time shooting photographs and creating memories. You board the helicopter and fly back to Pokhara, retracing the vistas.

MARDI HIMAL BASE CAMP HELICOPTER RIDE HELICOPTER RIDE TO MARDI HIMAL BASE CAMP Mr. Nir Lama called me early in the morning (6.00 am) on a Sunday in early July 2022 with the good news that the weather was suitable for a shared helicopter ride. I had told him a few days before that I would be on standby. So lucky and thankful that Nir was able to arrange a taxi pickup from the hotel to send me to the international airport to register for the Helicopter Ride. Everything was properly arranged at ... + See more the airport when I arrived with Mr. Dill (the representative of the helicopter company) waiting to meet me and sorting out all the paperwork. About 20 minutes or so later I was airborne and on my way to Mardi Himal Base Camp. This was a WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE to be up there where I was allowed to stay for about 30 minutes before taking the flight back. The ride itself there took about 25 minutes or so. If one has the opportunity then this has to be on your Bucket List. It is once in a lifetime experience. My photos do not do justice to the actual view that one is able to enjoy of Annapurna when one is up close and personally facing the mountain right in front of you. I would highly recommend Mr. Nir Lama and his services to arrange the helicopter ride. It is worth the cost (cheaper if shared of course) for an unforgettable experience. The helicopter pilot Mr. Ranesh was superb and gave an explanation of all the big mountains at the Annapurna Range as we were flying and made me feel very welcome. Go go go for it! ... - See less
