En route, visit Tamchhog Lhakhang, a temple built by the legendary iron bridge builder Thang Thong Gyalpo. In Thimphu, explore the Kuenselcholing Viewpoint (Buddha Point), Memorial Chorten, and the magnificent Tashichho Dzong, a fortress that houses the King’s office. End the day with a relaxed stroll around the city.
