Did the Manaslu and Tsum valley hikes with Peace Nepal treks as recommended by my friend who frequently visits Nepal. Min 2 person in a group to get a permit but I-m doing it solo. Left it all to Nir and he managed to get all these logistics sorted. No worries at all. Also organized airport pickup/drop off, had a briefing on what to expect safety, etc - provided a 4g SIM card for me to make calls and get around and an amazing guide. Not a hassle at all during the entire process. Not just that, Nir was also regularly checking in with me during the hike to make sure that things were going well! Had an amazing time. Would Highly be recommended Peace Nepal Treks!

Awe-inspiring trip to Everest BC and Chitwan National Park.

As many experiences start, ours started over email. Nir, the owner, is very responsive and happy to adjust any packages to fit your needs. Do note that his packages don-t include food or tips in the price. If you pay for your own food it comes out to be roughly the same price anyway. Upon landing, Nir picked us up at the airport and took us to a nice - 3-star - hotel (according to google) in the center of Kathmandu. The location was perfect and the accommodation was nicer than we expected. Our guide during our 12-day EBC trek was very nice, takes a few hours to warm him up and to start talking. As a traveler, don-t be afraid to ask questions the more you ask the more you-ll not only have a wonderful nature-immersive experience, but you-ll be culturally enlightened. One of the things I did learn on my trip is that not all sherpas are porters and not all porters are sherpas. Also, a cultural form of the caste system still exists. You only see it if you look for it. If you-re still considering hiking without a guide, stop. There were some times when I was leading our three-person pack and wasn-t sure which way to go. If we didn-t have our helpful guide, we surely would-ve gone wrong somewhere. Also, last minute we had to change a route due to ice which we would-ve never known if we didn-t have our guide. Finally, he helped us a lot when we did have symptoms of altitude sickness. He gave us medication only when he thought we needed it, made sure we ate well, gave us natural food remedies, and even massaged my husband's head, which actually helped relieve his terrible headache. Anyway, get a guide. But don-t get just any guide. Get an experienced guide, as the PNT provides!

Shout out to our porter, Furba, who literally carried our luggage up. He was timely, fast, and humble.

Anyway, the trip was amazing. We kept in communication with Nir during our trip as we wanted to continue our travels through Nepal. We ended up booking a trip to Chitwan National Park.

There were only two things that left a bit of a sour taste in our mouths. 1, on the last day our guide said we will have one last meal together (us, the guide, and porter) and he said he would treat us. However, the next day when we checked out we were left with the bill. It's not bank-breaking, but it's just the principle. 2, if you-re trying to be a conscious traveler, please note that most accommodations in a Chitwan will promote elephant riding. We repeatedly mentioned that we do not want to do this or see the elephant government - sanctuary, - yet we stayed at a place that can coordinate elephant riding and took us to the sanctuary on our way back from the walking safari. Even if we would-ve skipped it, we still paid for it indirectly. That being said, the accommodation & the actual safari guide were amazing! It's hard to blame any company for this as there are only a few accommodations in Chitwan that do not promote elephant riding.

In conclusion, I would recommend this company to anyone. It's cost efficient, without sacrificing service.

We had our Everest Base Camp (EBC) trip organized by Nir Lama.

To sum it up in short - it was exceptional, unforgettable, and simply magic!

The crew that he organized for our trek were extremely professional and experienced as well as absolute treasures of personalities - from the guide to all porters.
The trek itinerary was well thought through and ended up working really well with all of us.

I went trekking with friends to Mera peak in October 2022. Nir Lama arranged our stay in Katmandu in a nice hotel in a good area. We flew to Lukla airport with our mountain guides - FURI SHERPA - and also with his companion RAZU TAMANG. All the way up to Mera peak we enjoyed beautiful views, we slept in lodges, and we spent a good time together with our guides, who were very nice and provided help whenever we needed it. Fresh air, friendly people, and amazing villages we passed by. Ginger lemon honey tea is harmful and healthy. Although we did not reach the summit, we were able to go to the high camp and enjoyed nice views from there. I was very happy during the whole expedition and I definitely recommend contacting Peace Nepal Treks because everything went well: organization and friendliness from NIR LAMA, FURI SHERPA, and RAZU TAMANG. Nepal is a wonderful country and I would like to do another trekking expedition with Peace Nepal Treks.

MARDI HIMAL BASE CAMP HELICOPTER RIDE

HELICOPTER RIDE TO MARDI HIMAL BASE CAMP

Mr. Nir Lama called me early in the morning (6.00 am) on a Sunday in early July 2022 with the good news that the weather was suitable for a shared helicopter ride. I had told him a few days before that I would be on standby.

So lucky and thankful that Nir was able to arrange a taxi pickup from the hotel to send me to the international airport to register for the Helicopter Ride. Everything was properly arranged at the airport when I arrived with Mr. Dill (the representative of the helicopter company) waiting to meet me and sorting out all the paperwork.

About 20 minutes or so later I was airborne and on my way to Mardi Himal Base Camp. This was a WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE to be up there where I was allowed to stay for about 30 minutes before taking the flight back.

The ride itself there took about 25 minutes or so. If one has the opportunity then this has to be on your Bucket List. It is once in a lifetime experience. My photos do not do justice to the actual view that one is able to enjoy of Annapurna when one is up close and personally facing the mountain right in front of you.
I would highly recommend Mr. Nir Lama and his services to arrange the helicopter ride. It is worth the cost (cheaper if shared of course) for an unforgettable experience. The helicopter pilot Mr. Ranesh was superb and gave an explanation of all the big mountains at the Annapurna Range as we were flying and made me feel very welcome. Go go go for it!

Amazing trekking experience to Gokyo Ri and Renjo La Pass

The trekking was amazing and it was one of the most exciting travel experiences for me so far. Everything was really well organized and the guide did a great job. He made sure we got the most out of the trekking, setting the proper pace and sharing his rich experiences along the way. Next to the ascent to Gokyo Ri also Renjo La Pass was included, which for me was one of the highlights of the whole trip.

I really appreciate everything that was provided for me and the opportunity I had to experience the beauty of the Himalayas and the kindness of the people I met on the way.

Incredible experience on the Trek to ABC

Easily the best experience of my travels to date!
Nir was very helpful in organizing a solo trek to Annapurna Base Camp with one of his guides. As a female traveler, I was a little nervous about how the experience would go, but I was immediately put at ease and couldn't have been more comfortable due to the friendliness and capabilities of Nir and my guide Kama Gawa.

I had an incredible 6-day trek up to Annapurna Base Camp and was able to take the route as quickly (or slowly) as I liked, planning out each day with the Kama the night before, or deciding whilst on the trail. It was great to not have any time constraints, and be able to go with the flow and make the trip as spontaneous as I liked. It was also made extra special by the Kama, who was once a Buddhist monk, and the friendship we formed, as he was able to give me a fantastic insight into the lives of Nepali people.

If you're looking to trek in Nepal, Peace Nepal Treks are the way to go - I will definitely be coming back!

The challenging second visit to Nepal panned out all well rewarding and safe!

My second visit to Nepal with Peace Nepal Treks was filled with great accomplishments and awesome memories. On a 12 days trip to Everest Base Camp during this visit and my group of 4 friends was met with the same dedication and commitment to ensuring a great service to us (trekkers) as per the previous trip. Nir Lama and the team delivered an excellent and well-organized trip, yet also managed to adjust to the circumstances and catered to the different needs of individual group members. This trip did come with some challenges, notably members feeling unwell and the ever un-accommodating weather of Lukla. With some slight tweaking of trek schedules and inspirational motivation from the guide, all 4 of us made it up to base camp!

Greatly appreciated the guide and team for the continued support of the group despite the endless list of demands and adjustments during this trip, etc with managing the arrangement of alternative transportation back to Kathmandu or we would have missed our flight back home! Thanks for all the help and encouraging support!

Excellent Annapurna Circuit Trek
Peace Nepal organized an incredible trek which included the Annapurna Circuit and a visit to Annapurna Base Camp.
Our guide Prem was great company and made the experience as good as it could have possibly been. Nir was extremely welcoming when we arrived in Kathmandu and lent us several items (sleeping bag, jacket, poles) for the trek which we didn-t have, which was very kind. A very memorable trip!

Successful summit attempt

Am proud to say that we managed to reach the summit of Mera and back without many incidents thanks to the dedication and safety awareness of the guys from this company! They are really experienced and dedicated to the cause of helping their clients achieve their goals (safely of course) with lots of fun! Wouldn't have made it up to the summit and back safely if not for them!

Great trekking company!

Peace Nepal treks is a great company for trekking in the Nepali Himalayas. In Kathmandu, there are many trekking agencies all offering many things and I can comfortably recommend Peace Nepal Treks as the very best of them. I have been twice with Peace Nepal Treks on extended camping trips into remote and lesser trodden trips into the mountains and my sister has been with Nir Lama on a peak climbing expedition to Mera Peak all of which have been wonderful positive experiences. And from what comparisons I have the prices of peace Nepal treks are very good.

I could write endless praises for their organizing of every detail of the trips from transport, flexibility, time in Kathmandu, environmental management, sleeping arrangements, and food. They are all great! But what is the real source of all the great small details is that peace Nepal treks are a great family business, run and owned by kind and honest people that really want the best for everyone and are good at making that happen. What more can I say :)

Amazing EBC Helicopter Tour

My friends and I completed a 7-day trek to EBC with Peace Nepal Treks. We down back to Kathmandu by Helicopter ride. It was an amazing mountain experience in the Himalayas. They provided quality gear for us during the coldest month of the year and Nir is super sweet! 10/10 recommend Peace Nepal Treks!

The big boss, NIr was very helpful from the get-go. He personally picked us up from the airport and had great hospitality throughout the trip.

Our guide, Dupsang, was one hell of an awesome guide. He never failed to crack some jokes and tell us about his adventures to give us a boost after being exhausted from the day's hike. Special mention to him when he asked after me every day, and even tweaked the hiking schedule after knowing that I fell ill. Nonetheless, we all made it to EBC despite the unforgiving weather conditions!

Amazing experience at EBC!

It was my first time in Nepal and a group of 4 of us went with Peace Nepal Treks for a 12 days Everest Base Camp trek. Many of our friends from Singapore recommended Peace Nepal Treks for their great service and reasonable price. Nir Lama provided excellent service and responded to all of our requests, from providing trekking equipment to arranging a helicopter flight when we were stuck at Lukla airport for 3 days due to the unforgiving weather conditions. He also provided all necessary documents to ensure we were able to make our insurance claims for medical fees and flight delays. During the trek, some of us were sick and our guide Dupsang took great care of us. He was able to cater to the needs of each of us and adjusted to a pace comfortable for our group. He gave briefings every morning so we know what to expect for the day and provided an accurate description of the trekking terrain, elevation, and estimation of time taken between checkpoints. You can ask him anything and he will always answer to his best knowledge. He always tells us to take our time, walk slowly, relax, and take more photos. He also shared with us his life experiences, some history, and customs of Nepal which were really interesting. In short, it was an amazing experience and I highly recommend Peace Nepal Treks if you are visiting any mountains in Nepal!

Excellent Annapurna Circuit Trek

Amazing Team to Ensure a Fun Experience

This is our second time engaging Peace Nepal Trek's services, the first in Nov 2018 for the Annapurna Base Camp trail, and this time round a six-day hike to Langtang Valley.

We came with a group of seven people, Nir greeted us at the airport and sent us to the hotel before discussing our trek over lunch with our guide. The next morning we took the bus to SyabruBesi to start our trek. Our guide, Prem, was quiet at first but slowly warmed up and was great to be with.

Along the hike, he provided us with Water Purifying Tablets and Altitude Sickness Pills. Anytime our members don-t feel too well, Prem made sure they are attended to immediately.

On the fifth day, one of our participants injured his leg during the hike and Prem was especially thoughtful. He allowed him to rest while the rest of the group continued, and assigned one porter to look after all his needs. After the hike, we returned to Kathmandu in the private jeep, and the next day Nir picked us up from the hotel back to the airport.

Overall, we are very thankful to have engaged the Peace Nepal Treks team. They have been very attentive to our needs. Prem, our guide is also very experienced (16 years) and hence it was very reassuring to have him with us. Even though we have been with Peace Nepal Trek on a previous trip, they still managed to exceed our expectations every day with small yet unexpected gestures. You can see that they really put in a lot of effort to ensure that we will have a good trip.

8 days Annapurna Base Camp Trek

My friend and I did the 8 days ABC trek with Peace Nepal Treks. Prior to the trek, Nir answered all our queries via email and also arranged for airport pickups and hotel pickups. During the trek, our guide (Bil) was an experienced and friendly guide who looked after us during the trek and managed all the bookings of the tea houses along the trek which made our trek worry-free. Our porter (Jo) was also very friendly and professional.

Overall, Peace Nepal Treks is a great company to trek with and we will definitely be trekking with them again if we decide to go for more treks in Nepal :)

Fantastic Experience!

We did the Manaslu trek with 2 friends, for our first experience in Nepal. Nir has been so great since the first email; very responsive and super helpful in helping us identify the best trek as per our expectations and wishes. He picked us up at the airport in person, came with us the first day to change currency, indicated to us a great place to eat, checked we had all necessary gear, and provided what I missed at no additional costs. One week after the end of the trek when we organized ourselves around Nepal, he met with us in Kathmandu and organized our transport to the airport.

He works with a great staff. Our guide Kamadawa and our porter Nangche (Kamadawa's brother) were great during the entire trek: patients, fun, insightful, and supportive.

They definitely put the customer's experience as their priority and it felt more friendship relation than business. I am considering going back soon for more trekking, and would definitely go back with the same team!

Memorable 8 days Annapurna Base Camp Trek

This is our first time in Nepal and what better way to start the adventure of an 8-day Annapurna Base Camp hike with Peace Nepal Treks. As a team of 6 people arriving in Kathmandu, we were greeted by Nir Lama at the airport patiently waiting for us and had already organized transportation and accommodation. We were brief on the routes and were introduced to our 3 porters (Dawar, Bipin, and Manil) and guide (Prem) who were an amazing bunch of people during the entire trek who checked up on us if were doing okay or if we needed to stop and pause for a breather. I can safely say the trip we experienced with Peace Nepal Treks was worry-free. Nir Lama was very responsive, flexible, and attentive to our requests. Very pleased with the entire experience.

Nir lama was always very responsive to our many requests and questions about our ABC trek. upon arrival, he personally received the 6 of us at the airport and made sure we were comfortable with our stays at Kathmandu for the night. During the trek, we had Prem our wonderful and experienced guide who was quiet at first but warmed up after a while. He made sure that all of us arrived at our teahouse safely each night. Our porters Dawar, Monil, and Bipin were wonderful as well - not only were they carrying heavy loads of ours, they were the "guides" for the members of the groups who walked ahead of the team. They were kind and selfless in their responsibilities making the trip a very memorable one. I would not hesitate to pick PNT again for our next trek to Nepal!
