While the Annapurna, Everest, and Langtang regions are the most frequented trekking areas in Nepal, there are plenty of other destinations, that are as impressive as the ‘big three’ regions. Some of these destinations are located in Nepal’s most remote corners and their isolation gives hikers a real ‘Into the Wild’ experience.
Camping Trekking (Adventure Trek in Nepal)
Camping treks are surprisingly luxurious. You are woken each morning when hot water and a hot drink are brought to your tent. All the trekking gear – sleeping tents, sleeping bags, mattresses, kitchen tents, cooking gear, and toilet tents – are provided, along with all necessary support staff. A Sirdar (chief guide) is employed to pre-arrange and then oversee the entire program. All land transportation, local permits, taxes, porter insurance, port dues, and entrance fees to National Parks or sites constituting an integral part of the trip are arranged. Depending on the area, provisions are based either on fresh local food or a combination of local and imported ingredients. Your only job is to enjoy yourself.

Makalu Ice Col is a classic trekking trail that takes you across the technically challenging Sherpani Col, West Col, and Amphu Lapcha La Pass. The difficulty in trekking along this trail rewards its visitors with unsurpassed views of the Makalu (8,463m) and the Island (6,160m) peaks.
UPPER DOLPO TREK 20 DAYS
Upper Dolpo Trek is a remote region located in the Far West of Nepal. The region is protected as the Shey Phoksundo National Park. Upper Dolpo lies north of the Dhaulagiri Range that borders the Tibetan plateau. Most of the inhabitants of this region still rely on trading Tibetan salt as it is nearly impossible to grow anything in this region.
MAHABHARAT RHODODENDRON TREK
The Mahabharat region is located in the East of Kathmandu. The Mahabharat trek is a short trek through an unfrequented trekking route along with the Mahabharat Himalayan range. Although this trek can be completed in a week, we can always add a few more days to this program. This shall give you more time to marvel at the beauty of this exotic place.
