The holy Manasarovar lake is located 20 kms from Mount Kailash. The great lake lies in the south west of Tibet beyond the great Himalayas bordering Nepal and China. Manasarovar is a sacred place to both Hindus and Buddhists who believe that the Indus, Ganga, Sutlej and Brahmaputra originated from this lake.
