New Trekking Routes

In Nepal, many areas which could otherwise have been prime trekking destinations, still remain forbidden to outsiders. Due to their proximity to the Tibetan border, several trekking areas were restricted to non-nationals in the past. However, the Government of Nepal lifted off such restrictions in some trekking areas. Moreover, some of these newly opened trekking routes are now giving tough competition to two of the most popular trekking regions in this country; the Everest and the Annapurna trekking region.
