The country is bordered by China in the north and India in the south,
west and east. Nepal is situated between China and India. It has covered
147,181 sq. km area. There are different kind of people are living
in Nepal on the High Himalayas, the mid-Himalayas or mountains region
and sub-tropical tarai region. Therefore late king Prithvi Narayan
Shah had once said “Nepal in a common garden of four castes
& thirty-six sub castes”. It’s divided with 14 zones
and 75 districts, among them Kavre Palanchowk district is one. And
also, there are 87 VDCs (Village development comeete) in Kavre district.
The Thulo Parsel VDC is one of them. It’s located about 85 km
to the east south side of Kathmandu near by Sunkosi River (Golden
River) and drive about 4 hours by 4 WD car and 6 hours by bus to reach
in Thulo Parsel VDC. Thulo Parsel VDC is one of the various casts/ethnic
groups and religion. There areTamang, magar, Lohar, Brahaman, Chhetri,
Damai, Thakuri, Majhi living in this village. In Thulo Parsel, there
are 9 wards divided. No. 1 ward, where the people are living Magar,
Damai, and Kami, The Holland Lion’s Club Schoorl is helping
to build the building 5 classes. There is running only primary school
in this place. The school is opened with the authority of Nepal Government.
But still now, there are only 3 teachers from government. And other
2 teacher are from different project, one is from Holland Lion’s
Club Schorl and other is from CCS Nepal paying the teacher salary.
That’s for it, in total 5 teachers are in this Shree Mahankal
Primary School.
