Nagarkot Hiking |
There are various around the ede of the kathmandu
valley which offer great mountain views, but
the resort vilalge of Nagarkot is gererally
held to be the best way up to the village, stay
overnight in one of Nagarkot's lodges, then
rise at dawn to see the sun appear over the
himalayan. Nagarkot is on a ridge the north-eastern
of the valley and the view extends all the way
from Dhaulagiri in the west past Mt. Everest
(little more than a dot on the horizon) to Kanchanjunga
in the east. An easy hour's walk north from
the vilage will give an even better 360 degree
view from a lookout tower on a ridge. You have
to cross an army chekpost and they will only
let you walk through in the morning.

Arrive in Kathmandu
Airport & Transfer to Hotel. O/N Hotel |

Kathmandu Sightseeing, Durbar Square/monkey
temple/Boudhanath |

After
breakfast, we will start from Kathmandu to Bhaktapur
via driving our own vehicle and than after we will start
to walking towards the Nagarkot. We will have a lucnh
on the way. About 5 hours after, we will reach in Nagarkot
2170 m.and we will stay at the hote for overnight.

Early
in the morning we will go to see the spectacular mountain
view of Langtang ranges/Gaur Sankar/Dorje Lakpa and
Mt. Everest region. we will enjoy with mountain scnerary
and we will back after 2 hours frm the view point to
hotel. After having a breakfast we will back to Kathmandu
via walking. |
